Golfing...

Lucius and Oliver borrowed a golf club from Morfar and have been playing on and off. Today I caught Lucius digging a hole in the front yard. I asked him what he was doing. He told he he was "making a golf course" and he "needed lots of holes in the ground for the ball to go into". I loved his determination and imagination but I just didn't want holes all over the front yard. Instead we raided the wood scraps and found a piece to drill a hole into. Made a sort of "putting board". That's probably not a real thing, but he loved it and started playing right away.

 

He even got a "hole in one" after about five minutes. 

Eventually Oliver wanted to try. But he got a little frustrated when it wouldn't go in. After a few tried he gave up and walked away.
