Who Am I?

I know I am a mother, but I don’t call myself ‘mommy’. Call me crazy but I’d like to be a Marmee.

In Little Women, Marmee is wise and full of exciting, unique ways of shaping the characters of her children. I would not consider myself as wise as I’d like but I hope someday my boys will know how much I love them by the ideals I tried to live by and virtues I attempted to teach them. Of course, I also want to show my sons the amazing unconditional love that Alcott's mother figure always showed to everyone in her family.

Cliff notes: Much more simply, Marmee's real name was Margaret (like me!).

It's important for to me mention, that ALL the mothers in my life who I have observed in active mothering duties have been much more influential than Alcott's fictional character.

I'm a Marmee, Photographer, Crafter, and an Adventurer.
