Wild Mountain Water Park...

Last Saturday Uncle Jason invited us out to Wild Mountain for a day at the water park. Oma and Auntie Dana joined us. It was a pretty fun day. Oliver enjoyed the water slides a LOT. Lucius on the other hand, was not a fan. He was scared of even the smaller water slides and lazy river most of the day.

 

Just before we were all quite ready to go, I pulled Lucius into the lazy river to take a float with me and Oliver. It was their idea, but then Lucius was going to back out. Five minutes into our floating, Lucius wanted to try his own tube. That was positive progress, so we grabbed a second tube for him. Then he discovered he could touch the bottom. It soon became a not so lazy river as he began running and passing people. Eventually, he managed to convince Auntie Dana, Oma and Daddy (who were all almost dry) to come back in the water and go around with him. Five or six times later he had to convince him to come out of the water.

 
Afterwards, we drove to Oma's house for a late dinner. We were all pretty tired and the boys zoned out in front of a movie while we relaxed. What a great day!
