Photography: Vegas...

My Husband and I took a trip a few weeks ago to Las Vegas. We went down for his brothers wedding and had only a few days to see the strip. It seemed to go by so fast that I just remember a lot of walking. Vegas is a pretty interesting place full of fascinating people watching. I loved seeing the variety of architecture and the sheer size of the hotels. Watching the fountain show one evening in front of the Bellagio was a real treat. I’d seen it in a few movies, but the size of the pool- wow- it’s huge.

A few words of wisdom I heard from Las Vegas street hustler: “pick up that attitude and SMILE!”

Our first day in Rome we walked through the Piazza Navona just before sunset.

The City of Towers: San Gimignano...

By far one of the BEST towns in Tuscany that we’ve visited during our stay in Italy. San Gimignano is known for its old city towers. We climbed the tallest tower and were delighted to see the views of the town and surrounding country side. It’s not a big town, we saw most of it during our day trip there, but it is very wonderfully old world. Shortly after one pm the town stores closed for a few hours, and besides the street sweepers, it felt like we were all alone within the walls of the city.

On top of a hill...

My family and I took a bus to the Piazzale Michelangelo overlooking Florence, Italy. Besides the beautiful cityscape, we found the second fake David statue and this awesome crooked tree.
