I don’t think I could pick a favorite place within Yellowstone National
Park. They are all so unique and different. I’m not a huge fan of the
sulfur smell at the hot springs, but they are pretty cool to watch. The
waterfalls are beautiful and the landscape changes so much throughout
the park. First it’s grasslands, then mountains, then trees, then barren
rocks. I loved seeing as much as we can, but I wish we had planned a
little more time to walk around different areas longer.

Photography: Yellowstone's Lower Loop...
On our recent family road trip we knew we really wanted to see
Yellowstone. Originally we were only going to be there for one night but
I really wanted to have more time so we stayed two nights in west
Yellowstone. We could have spent far longer… Yellowstone is HUGE. The
first day we drove the lower loop so we could see Old Faithful. I had no
idea how many places we’d find to stop along the way. The park is
amazing and around each bend in the road is another landscape more
breathtaking than the one we left behind. I truly could have spent weeks
here.

Photography: waterfall hike...
My family and I took a trip to Willow River State Park in Wisconsin.
It’s about a 45 minute drive from our neck of the woods, and it was such
a nice day to go for a hike. Seeing waterfalls, exploring caves, and
being outdoors- it couldn’t have been a more wonderful time.

Photography: green edible garden
One of my raised bed gardens is all green: lettuces, snap peas, garlic,
green beans, and cucumbers. It’s fun to see them all growing together,
even if they are all green. I’ve been enjoying fresh garden salads for
the last week and my lettuce only seem to be getting bigger. I am
totally hook on this whole gardening thing, especially since I don’t
have to go out and buy my lunch, just pick it.

Photography: ants...
Playing around with my Macro filters again. This time I spotted a few
ants on my mothers flowers. I heard something about the ants help to
open this variety of flower, I just thought it was fun to watch them
work.

Photography: Flowers...
I've never really been that interested in flowers. But the last year or so I've got the gardening bug. It started with our first ever vegetable garden last year. When researching my garden this year, I read about companion plants and a few flowers that were beneficial to plant near certain veggies. I planted a few marigolds, poppies and a dahlia near my cauliflower. Now I am noticing other flowers just for their pure beauty and design. Maybe next year my garden will be colorful as well as edible.

Photography: Spring...
The weather is above freezing and the snow is melting. It’s time to get
outside to enjoy splashing in puddles, taking longer walks and soaking
in the sunshine.
My Little Misters and I went to a spring flower show to see flowers as we patiently wait to plant our own.
