The sickness that won't go away...

Three sundays ago when Daddy took Lucius to the basketball game, Lucius came home sick. He went striaght to bed and slept from the next few days off and on. When we finally took him into the doctors on Tuesday afternoon, he temp was still 103 and they told us he had influenza B. Fun times. Wednesday he seemed to recover a bit more and by Friday he was back to school after missing 4 days of school. Unfortunately Oliver became sick Wednesday and slept a little less than Lucius for the next couple days. Saturday when we took Oliver in to the minute clinic they tested for strep and ear infections but thought it was most likely influenza.

We are slowly recovering but now Jerimy and I don't feel the greatest now. Thanks boys! The nicest part of them being sick is that we've had some pretty early nights. Friday they got really quiet around 6ish and I walked into the living room to find this:

Saturday When we took Oliver into the Clinic his fever was 104, which surprised me because he had far more energy than Lucius had with the same illness.

Sunday we were all feeling ready to get out of the house so we went out for ice cream. You're never too sick for ice cream, right?!

On Monday the boys had no school for Presidents Day. So we all went to see the new Lego Batman movie at the theater.

Later that afternoon Oliver put himself to sleep around 3pm. He woke up briefly around dinner time but didn't want to eat anything. So he laid in bed for a half hour till he fell asleep for good. He slept till the morning and we kept him home one more day from school.
