checkers...

We've been playing a lot of Checkers lately. I feel like it's been a good tool to help with bad attitudes. We're learning that there will always be "winners" and "losers" but we can try to have fun playing anyways. Using encouraging words throughout the game and shaking hands afterwards. It's been fun seeing them learn the rules of the game, helping them slow down to take in the whole board before moving their pieces and all in all just play with them.
