School bus...

Oliver took the school bus the second day of school. He was BEYOND excited about it. He woke up saying "it's the SECOND day of school! We're going to walk to the bus stop."

Lucius and I walked him down the half block to the stop sign where he'd bus would pick him up. We were told to be there early (which we were) but then the bus was quite late. I think it was twenty minutes later than when they told us it would come. Oliver was impatient to get on, but we waited and it did come.

He raced right over to it and jumped on. Not even a wave for those he left on the corner.

Lucius and I walked back to spend our morning at home. Just before lunch, we heard Oliver's bus coming down the road. Oliver was peeking out the window watching for his turn to get off. He was excited to see us waiting and almost forgot his backpack on the bus, but turned around to grab it.

 
I think this Little Man is super happy to be back in school making friends and learning whatever they're teaching. I did ask him what he wanted to learn in school this year, his answer was "to spell". We'll see what we can do.
