A day at the Renaissance Festival
A couple weekends ago we took the boys to the MN Renaissance Festival. The little misters and I had never been before. We arrived before the gates opened and waited patiently till we could go check it all out.
Our first stop was the enchanted garden, with it's wooded trail and small fairy houses. The boys liked finding each little dwelling, but were ready to see what else the festival had to offer.
We found a stand selling these bubble wands, and for $6 we should have picked up a few. They had a blast and the bubbles were SO big. Very easy to use bubble wand and hitting myself in the head for not picking up one for each of the boys and all my nieces and nephews.
Just look how easy he makes it...
We met up with some friends and stopped to watch this juggler.
Lucius was enjoying stealing Daddy's hat until he turned around to see a man standing on top of a ladder throwing things into the air. I'm sure he'll be trying this at home real soon, as climbing and throwing things are two of his favorite activities.
The Little Misters loved holding Amy's hand much better than mom or dad's. Maybe next year we'll have to dress in costume so they want to hang out with us more!
All in all a pretty fun day, even if everyone wasn't in the best of spirits throughout the day. But once we got in the car, the boys fell asleep almost instantly- they were a bit wore out.
