Friday was my birthday. My wonderful husband let me sleep in and even made me breakfast in bed. Thank you so very much handsome!My choice for birthday activity was to take the boys on a paddle boat ride. On the drive down we stopped to get a treat- Jamba Juice smoothies.
We rented the boat for a half an hour. We peddled through a channel to the far end of the lake and sat under the shade of a old willow tree. As we were sitting there a white herron flew down and landed right by our boat.
I would have to say that it was a very lovely birthday. I couldn't ask for much more than spending the day with my favorite three misters.
