Marking this day!
After all that’s happened in the last two years of schooling for our 13 year old we were finally able to lovingly/ jokingly tell them:
“DON’T you dare pick up a book!! You need to play as much video games as possible tonight, as a consequence for having the BEST week of in-person schooling you’ve ever had at your school.”
Kiddo laughed and is having the greatest night ever. We are thrilled to bits!!

I mention that this is the first week they’ve been at school in-person
since the pandemic started (over a year of distance learning)?! Before
that it was the school year from Hell. So this is HUGE & amazing!!
